Hey, everyone!

Happy FRIDAY! I am SO excited about today’s card because it’s the same card I will be attempting to re-create with 20 Kindergarteners today while subbing for a few hours in Ava’s class I’m so excited. Ava doesn’t know either-I want it to be a surprise and I can’t wait to see the look on her face when I arrive with all my supplies in hand Should be a FANTASTIC Friday! Hooray!

It’s also a FARM FRESH Friday at The Greeting Farm and our showcase Farmer TRACY has this challenge for us this week: to create a card using Black, White, and ONE other color I’m not a huge fan of non-coloring, but after seeing Peggy’s GORGEOUS creation last week for our Monochromatic challenge? Oh my gosh- TOTALLY inspired to try it! What do you think?

Hi, guys!

Can you believe it’s Thursday already? Woooosah! I can’t!

We have a SUPER busy weekend including our little Daisy scout’s end-of-year spaghetti dinner and variety show, basketball games, and a dance competition on Sunday. Yahoo! I’m actually really excited about all of it, but still cannot believe how QUICK this week went!

Well, that being said, it’s time for another Deconstructed Sketch:

Hey, everyone!

It’s an {ippity} skippity Wednesday here and I’m here with a card that’s being featured over on the UNITY BLOG today, using one of the NEW {ippity} releases, ”Live Half FULL” :)

Can I just TELL you how excited I am for summer to come?

I can’t wait! 2 more weeks of school for this chick’s chickadees and we’ll be spending it at the pool, the lake, and NOT getting up at 5:45 am! I am SO ready for Sunshine and Summertime, just like one of my favorite Faith Hill songs

Did you guys all catch the Unity/ {ippity} release last Thursday!? The forum was ON FIYAHHH! So much so that I actually had problems getting on, so if I missed you all, I’m sorry Hope you all enjoyed the release- I’m in love w/ the new Ippity Itty Bitty’s and all of the awesome Phyllis Harris and Simple Stories goodies that are NOW available HERE

Plus, as you can see from this cute pic, there are MORE new {ippity} Itty Bitty’s that are available with last Thursday’s new release, so get ‘em while they’re hot!

Gettin’ Sketchy with the RCC…

I’m here today with a super cute SKETCH from our own Debbie Carriere for this week’s RIBBON CAROUSEL challenge! Today on the RCC blog, we are challenging you to THIS:

Hey, everyone!

I normally don’t post on Sundays, but there are TWO great reasons I just had to say hi today… first, I want to wish my friends a Happy Mother’s Day….this is probably my FAVORITE holiday because of what it represents….and a BIG shout out to Taylor as this is her first Mommy’s day! How fun

My brother and his wife are passing through town on the way back home to the Atlanta area after hanging out in Chicago for a few days after their precious Hannah’s baptism last week (have I mentioned how in love I am with my niece??? Oh, how I adore her!), so it was fun to celebrate HER first mother’s day, too, with my adorable niece I’m looking forward to celebrating Mother’s day with my amazing mom, my kids, husband, and family. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Anyway, as sweet as that baby is, I have something ‘sweet’ for you today as well using the cute “Fruity Friends” stamp set from Taylored Expressions and our MAY Key Ingredients! I’m actually up on the KEY INGREDIENTS BLOG today, too, so please stop by and say hello!

It’s “that” time again…yep- the “end of school year rush” to get teacher gifts, etc., together! I’ll be making card boxes for all 3 of my kids’ teacher’s this year and thought this Fruity Friends set is truly perfect for making cards with.

There’s a CUUUTE little added bonus this month in the Key Ingredients kit that I LOVE. In addition to the awesome ribbon, flowers, and buttons that come to beautifully embellish your projects, we also have these fun Wobble Springs which create a SUPER FUN 3D effect on your project:

Isn’t it super cute? I used one on each of my cards today to ‘pop’ up the fruits after coloring them with Copic Markers and really love the effect it gives! Here’s the watermelon card in a full view:

I am telling you- the possibilities are endless with the KEY INGREDIENTS this month! I really enjoyed making these and think the kids’ teachers will get a kick out of them-what do you think?
