TGF Cares…Charity Card Drive and RELEASE DAY!!!

Hey everyone!
It’s TGF RELEASE DAY and there’s NO April Fool’s joke here when we say that ALL NEW RELEASES are now available in the TGF Store!   We hope you’ve enjoyed our previews this week and are SO excited to welcome Get Well by Marina Neira, Stamping Anya, Eric, Dee Dee, and Oliver/Amelia “Buddies” to the TGF Family of rubber!   Today is a GREAT day and we’re so happy you’re along for the ride!
I’m also SUPER EXCITED to announce that The Greeting Farm has been featured this month in the ScrapStreet Magazine issued today, April 1st.   You can check out the AWESOME article, cards featured by the DT, and a little interview w/ me HERE.  It was really exciting and quite the honor to be asked…thanks Stacey!
Here is my card featured in the e-zine using Dee Dee, our new Wild Sprout:
I also decorated the inside again, which is rare for me, LOL:
Today we are also excited and honored to announce the 1st “TGF Cares” Charity Card Drive.   This is something that TGF has been wanting to do for a long time and we have finally been able to put together a card drive for a cause very close to our hearts.  A few years ago, I was introduced to a family who was only a few weeks away from losing their two-year old daughter, whose name was also Jessica.    Through this terrible tragedy, the family couldn’t say enough about how wonderful the Ronald McDonald House was to them, specifically the one near the Fairview Children’s Hospital near Minneapolis, MN.
I only knew baby Jessica for a week or two prior to her passing.   Her mother is the cousin of a high-school friend of mine who had found me on Facebook just a few weeks before and was telling me about the horror that her cousin was enduring, facing a disease called Niemann-Pick Type A for which there is STILL no cure.   After meeting the family, who as it turned out lived very close to me, I was never the same.  In her short little life, Jessica taught me more about the kind of parent I want to be, about life, love, and what’s important.  I have never been the same since meeting that sweet angel and I can’t even begin to tell you what a wonderful mother she has.  I have never before seen such a shining example of grace, faith, and perserverance through tragedy and I don’t know that I ever will again.   Julie is a beautiful person and I’m so glad to call her my friend even though I will always wish that we had met under a different set of circumstances.
After meeting a family like Jessica’s, it is a real eye-opener about how many families are in need.  There are so many sick children whose families do nothing short of moving mountains for these kids to help them get well.   Not only is it important to lift the spirits of these courageous children, but also the families-the parents, siblings, and relatives during all of the emotional ups and downs of a child’s fight for life.
TGF is proud and honored to be collecting cards that will go to the RMH in Minneapolis as well as the Fairview Children’s Hospital, parents, and siblings of these petite patients during the long and brave journey of theirs.  Be sure to stop by the TGF BLOG today for complete details on this special contest close to our hearts.
*********************************************************************************************************
Here’s the details: *(these are also included on the TGF BLOG :)
*This contest will run all month long.  Today, 4/1/10 through 4/30/10.  ALL ENTRIES must be POSTMARKED by 4/30/10 to qualify for any prizes/recognition.
*There will be 4 prizes total.  ONE GRAND PRIZE and three First prizes. Here’s how it will work:
For every 5 cards sent in, you will receive ONE entry for the prize drawings.  So for this contest, much like the PP Olympics, the more you create the more chances you have to win, but in the end, all entries will go into a hat and Random winners will be drawn to give more people a chance to win :)   We will keep track of how many entries you’re alloted based on the cards you upload in the Galleria, which brings us to our next point:
You will have all month long to upload your cards to the TGF GALLERIA>CONTESTS/CHALLENGES>TGF CARES.   You must, with the EXCEPTION OF SENTIMENTS, use ONLY TGF Stamps on any and all qualifying cards.
**************************************************************************************************
*THE IMPORTANT “FINE PRINT”:
Please SEND IN ALL CARDS AT ONCE.   When you are ready to mail your cards, please email Jessica for the address/contact info.
Please read the QUALIFYING stamp criteria carefully above, thank you!
The inside of your card should say something generic,  as we don’t know if your card will be going to the child or family member/sibling.
Here’s an example of what I will be writing in the inside of my cards:
“Thinking of you and sending lots of well wishes on your journey…”
~Jessica from Nashville, TN
on behalf of TGF Cares Card Drive
Of course ,you can tweak that as you wish, just as long as you get the general idea!
And now…for what’s up for grabs:
GRAND PRIZE WINNER will take home the ENTIRE APRIL RELEASE plus (1) 4×6 in stock set of choice PLUS a surprise gift (it’s a big one,  trust us!)
3 FIRST PRIZE winners will choose 2 IN-STOCK 4×6 sets of their choice EACH!
We hope that our first ever TGF CARES card drive is a huge success and can’t thank you enough for wanting to be a part of it.
Thanks for sticking with me today…and be sure to grab some UNITY love for yourself while you’re here, too :)
xoxo,
Jess :)

DARE to be ADORABLE…

Hey all!

It’s time for another Whimsical Wednesday edition of The Diedrich Dare!  We are SUPER excited to be welcoming Krista Vantol as our newest DAREDEVIL this week…I have adored her blog, “Crafty Little Pigtails”, from the minute our friend Andi pointed it out to me and couldn’t be happier to have her join us!  Welcome, KRISTA!

My little guy Jack has QUITE the fun sketch again today….today being his 8th BIRTHDAY along with his twin brother Nick!  I can’t believe it…I know that EVERY parent says this, but really…WHERE does the time go?  These birthdays, although so much fun, make me a little sad, too.   But while I lament, AND celebrate the miracle of these twin boys and how beautifully different they are, here is DDSC29:

Love the buttons!

Today just so happens to be another preview day on the Club Anya and Friends Blog as we debut a new set with the lovable OLIVER and AMELIA…”Buddies”.   This adorable little duo will be released on Thursday, APRIL 1st…thats TOMORROW at The Greeting Farm!  Here is cute little Oliver and his pupster, using the sketch:

There is SO much fun going on today I don’t even know where to start.  I’ll say it again, I just CANNOT BELIEVE my twin boys are EIGHT YEARS OLD today!   HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jacky and Nicky!  Mom and Dad love you BUNCHES and can’t believe how big you guys are!  We will be celebrating with dinner, cake, and of course, presents later!  We will go to Grandma and Grandpa’s tonight with our cousins who are in town.

Speaking of which, I am still having an AWESOME time with my cousin/BFF Kim :)   Her, her husband, and two girls have been here since Sunday and I can’t believe today is their last full day here.  They leave tomorrow and I’m so sad!  We have been having the BEST time.  Here’s a picture of us yesterday taken at the top of Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga, TN.  Kim just so happens to be one of our DAREDEVILS to so be sure to leave her some love on her blog today!

Well, be sure to head on over to the DIEDRICH DARE Blog to see what the rest of our fearless Daredevils have been cooking up, and visit their beautiful blogs, as well:

Thanks for stopping by today-we hope you’ll be able to play along!

I {heart} Anya…

Hey all!

It’s another SUPER exciting day at Club Anya and Friends AND time for another Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge!

Over at Club Anya & Friends we are previewing a new little cutie who you may have seen during our CHA recap week…she was (literally!) the poster child for The Greeting Farm and is now our latest in the line of Anya stamps…introducing… STAMPING ANYA!

Team Anya has a bunch of ADORABLE previews for you today over on the CA&F blog with a chance to WIN this little sweet pea, so be sure to head over and visit:

I’m really excited about my project today because I FINALLY made a box to store all of my digi images that I print out and also some colored images that I’m not ready to use yet.   I cannot think of a more PERFECT stamp than the new Stamping Anya with her little shirt that reads “I <3 stamps!”   SO fitting, right?    I used a Perfect Package card box from Taylored Expressions and some new paper from the Linen Closet line by DCWV.

I used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch this week (MTSC67) to create the decorative top for the box:

I’m SO excited to finally have a place to store all my digis and know they’re all in one place!  Here are a few pics of the finished product, having flipped the sketch vertically:

Well, I know you’ll definitely want to visit the rest of Mercy’s Muses today and be sure to stop by and say hello to our FABULOUS March Guest Muse, Dawn Easton as this is her (sniff sniff!) last week playing with us as our March Muse :)   Thanks for all the inspiration, Dawn!

In other news…GUESS what comes out on DVD TODAY?!??!?!

HECK YEAH!   In between hanging with my cousin/BFF who’s here til Thursday, taking a trip to the mountains today, and eating some more yummy Southern grub, I will DEFINITELY be stopping at Target to grab my copy of the UN-anniversary edition!  WOO HOO!!!!

See you tomorrow here for TWO more previews from The Greeting Farm!  One from TGF and one from CA&F…lots of fun stuff happening!

Live, love, laugh, and smile…

Jess ;) xoxo
