Skipping Stones and RCC BLOG Hop!

Hey, everyone!

Happy 4th!

We are knee-deep in Nationals week for my DD’s competition but I wanted to say hi and let you know that I’m excited about the SKIPPING STONES Designs and Ribbon Carousel BLOG HOP today!

I have to say that although I had never purchased from Skipping Stones before, I LOVE their stamps and will be back!  They are SUPER great clear stamps, and they have some pretty awesome quotes and images!  I love it!

Today I have a card for you today featuring their stamp set “Uplifting” , and of course, Twill Ribbon from Ribbon Carousel.com!  I LOVE this stamp set- I’m so grateful to Skipping Stones for letting me play with it!

I used the “paper tole” technique to pop up the grass to make it look like “rolling” hills, and also on the balloons for some lift :)  I had TOO much fun making this card… in fact, I may not give this one away, LOL!

There are a lot more talented ladies on the Blog hop today so I’ll let you get to it, but thanks SO much for stopping by!  Just click on the little froggie down there to be taken to the List of HOPPERS!  Easy Peasy!

I’ll be taking the rest of the week off from blog-land but will be back next week with an update about crafting, a fun announcement, and a few more projects :)

xoxo.

  1. I am in love with hot air balloons right now and love how the rolling hills really pop with the paper tole technique (I am going to have to google that term!) Thanks for sharing. Good luck to your DD in the competition!

  2. Hi Jess, wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy 4th of July. I hope you and the family are all having a wonderful summer so far. I think your card is just adorable! I haven’t seen this technique before, but I really love the clean lines to it and the way it just makes your scene pop. Take care.
